Use one real detail
Refer to an interest, a stated intention or a question from the profile. This shows you read it without acting as though you now know the person.
Avoid comments about a stranger’s body, demands for photos or assumptions about what their profile “really” means.
Ask, do not pressure
A simple question gives the other person space to answer in their own way. Keep the topic appropriate to the degree of familiarity already established.
Silence, a short answer or a boundary is information. Do not turn a lack of enthusiasm into a debate.
Let the pace stay mutual
Do not rush a new conversation toward private contact, location sharing or an in-person meeting. Trust is built through consistent behavior, not a persuasive script.
If the exchange remains light, that is fine. The purpose of a first message is to begin a conversation, not to secure an outcome.
